Lis Wihl (born on 19 August 1961) was an American writer and lawyer who worked at Fox News.
She was previously an assistant professor of Law in Law School at the University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's radio show and National Public Radio. She appeared regularly of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly, The Kelly File with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. Her birthplace was in Yakima. She is a graduate of a Bachelor of Arts in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) in addition to the JD degree from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She was a NPR legal reporter. She worked as the deputy chief investigation counsel for Democrats at the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. From 1995 until 2001, she served as a tenured professor in the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl served as an Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
