Angela Sun

Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, CA on 19 October 1979. She is an American journalist and sportscaster. She is also a documentary film maker and television presenter. Angela Sun is a multi-award winner journalist, sportscaster, and producer. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Sociology at the University of California. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she took part in several pro-am competitions. She was sponsored by big companies, including Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. It was the fame that she earned from her participation in these events which led Sun to the realm of entertainment. Later she worked as an journalist, actress, sportscaster reporter, as well as film director. Sun has worked for many news channels mainly as an anchor. In 2003, Sun worked as a Fox Sports Net reporter. She also co-hosted American Ninja Warrior in 2012 along with Matt Iseman, Jonny Mosley and Jill Moseley. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute for the year 2014. She's the first Asian American celebrity to appear as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has appeared in a variety of films, and earned fame and praise for her acting prowess. Sun has worked with films like Goliath 2016. (Hit the Floor, 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway, 2009), Street Kings (2008), Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004 and Shackled. Sun was the one who penned and directed her documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch about marine plastic pollution and the impacts on the planet in 2014, released the feature-length film.
