Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in one Games and was also the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles and their younger sibling Adria were conceived by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone began to take an interest in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for eleven years under supervision of trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles has won the gold and bronze medals in the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in vault and floor exercise prior to her first appearance in 2011 with the elite section of gymnastics competition. In less than two years, she had become the best in her sport. Biles was distinguished by her consistency in performance, vivacious character, as well as the difficult routines she performed across each of the four events such as vault, bars with uneven surfaces and balance beam.
